The September meeting featured distinguished guest Victor Goldschmidt. Dr. Goldschmidt discussed the importance of integrity and leadership goals. This was a great conversation to kick off our new meeting year. Many of us speak of integrity and attempt to do the right thing when asked. However sometimes we all slip and forget the importance of what we do and how it will be remembered. Remember the impact we have on others. Your honesty and integrity will be remembered long after you are gone.
Most of us understand the concept of leadership goals. When was the last time you visited the goals you set at the beginning of the year. A majority of us would most likely have to admit the goals were stuffed in a draw one month after we set them until next years goals. Once again we will write them down with good intentions of following our goals until we get busy and forget about them. A good friend once asked me, how do you know where you are going if you do not know what the end looks like? An important goal one could have is the lead by example. What part of your goals do you intend to accomplish today? How will it impact others? How will it impact you?
