Government Affairs – Amendment 4 Initiative (10/1)

The Government Affairs Committee would like to inform our members about an important issue that will be up for a vote this fall. The issue is Amendment No. 4, also known as REFERENDA REQUIRED FOR ADOPTION AND AMENDMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLANS.

ASCE (American Society of Civil Engineers), Florida Section will hold a Discussion meeting on October 8, 2010. Guests that are scheduled to discuss Amendment 4 include individuals from Citizens for Lower Taxes and a Stronger Economy, Inc., Gray Robinson and members of the Florida Legislature.

We encourage all members, who are registered voters, to take advantage of their rights and vote on November 2, 2010.
