I would also like to extend a very special thank you to John Miller, Firouz Keikavousi and Megan Tosh for organizing and working this incredibly successful event. We also appreciate Anik Patel and Jason Alphonso for taking time out of their busy day to help the event run smoothly.
For those of you that missed out on all the fun, mark your calendars, there will be another golf tournament to benefit ASHRAE Research in the spring!
ASHRAE Research Programs support over 85 ongoing projects with a combined value of $10 million dollars. Your contributions ultimately lead to improvements in energy and resource efficiency, indoor environmental quality, alternative energy solutions and design, control and operation of HVAC&R systems.
With everyone’s support, we’re striving to achieve this year’s Chapter goal of $32,500. If you are reading this, you have undoubtedly benefited from ASHRAE research. If you’ve ever flown on a plane and enjoyed breathing clean filtered air, if you’ve ever reached into the refrigerated section at Publix and enjoyed buying fresh milk, if you ever visited a loved one in the hospital and haven’t contracted a nosocomial infection, ASHRAE Research HAS improved your life. I would like to encourage all of you who would like to get involved, please donate and help keep the ASHRAE research and the industry as a whole moving forward.
