The International Institute of Ammonia refrigeration (IIAR) recently concluded their IIAR 2011 Industrial Refrigeration Conference and Heavy Equipment Show in our backyard. The show was at the Caribe Royale Convention Center and Resort in South Orlando and ran from March 27-30, 2011.
Similar to our AHR EXPO, the IIAR Heavy Equipment Show is “the best place to preview the industry’s leading technology, manufacturers, contractors and trainers”. As per the organizations website, IIAR’s 2011 technical program included workshops, reviews of technical papers and educational panels designed to give the most through update on operations, maintenance and energy conservation within the industrial refrigeration industry.
Our society recognizes IIAR as a related sister organization. ASHRAE and IIAR jointly work together to achieve our common goals in the field of industrial refrigeration.
