Summer Membership Reminders

It’s the end of another ASHRAE year.  I can’t believe how quickly the year went.  While we are taking a break from ASHRAE Chapter activities, there is still plenty that you can do over the summer break to stay in tune with ASHRAE.

  • For those members who have dues expiring in the summer months, please remember to renew your membership!  You will still receive an email from the Membership Promotion committee reminding you about your renewal date.
  • Even if your membership is not expiring in the Summer, please consider renewing your membership early.  Dues are set to increase starting on July 1, 2010.  You can lock in the current rate for your next year’s dues if you renew before then.
  • You are allowed to renew for up to 3 years.  If it makes sense for you to join for a three year membership period, the option is there!!  It will not only save you some money for this current increase in dues, but it will also save you money on the next two years.  Dues will continue to go up in $5/year increments for the next 3 years.
  • Check your ASHRAE home page and see if you’re eligible for a membership upgrade.

While the chapter meetings are stopping for the summer, your ASHRAE Board and chapter chairs will be hard at work preparing for next year.  Contact one of the officers or one of the chapter chairs if you’re interested in becoming more active in ASHRAE.  There are PLENTY of opportunities to do so.

If you have any questions please contact Amy Pastor (apastor@x-nth.com) or Amy Weaver (amyw@c-p.com).

Have a healthy and safe summer and we look forward to seeing every one of you back at our chapter meetings in the Fall!
